The Game

Your mission is to protect 6 tiny planets that are located in a sector thick with asteroid debris. Blast a path to the planets, and deploy a protective shield on each.

A & D to turn the ship, W to accelerate, SPACE or mouse click to fire.

I started teaching myself GameDev in March of 2025, and This was my first game jam - my entry into the #GDTVJam 2025, the theme for which was "Tiny World".

Very neat. Love the play. It reminds me of a chapter from Ratchet & Clank where it was first person but similarly you were running around blowing up commits/meteoroids as they got into your way. :)

Hehe I've never played that! Thanks for the feedback :-)

Great little game.

Reminds me of Escape Velocity!

Feels nicely polished and feature complete for a 10-day game! Pretty juicy gameplay, and it was fun to navigate.

Had fun blasting those asteroids & deploying that shield-tech!

I didn't immediately register where the waypoint arrow was on first glance, so I died a few times wondering where I was meant to be heading.

It was easier to spot full screen, but it might work better as a separate UI window, so it's more instantly readable.

You put a lot of effort into your devlogs and videos throughout the week and I wish you luck on your next project.

Thanks for sharing!

Pretty fun space blaster game, bringing back the classics! Love the big space cheese and would hunt those down to shoot them first.

Couldn't tell I had health, only when I got stuck on an asteroid (my fault, should have moved forward more). But got it back on the next planet so it was good.

Fun shooty pew pew.

Good entertaining game.  At first I expected asteroids /space type physics , it caught me off guard when I rotated the ship and it moved in that direction also! I went passed the first planet without even realisng, my fault for not going up. Might be good to have the distance to target in front of the ship so it's easier to see.

Good choice of sounds and music.

+1 for keeping a blog entry.

Thank you, I didn't even realise I had the physics wrong lol!
